From the village, we begin a moderate trek along a stream, following a jungle trail still used by locals for foraging wild herbs, hunting, and fishing. This path weaves through dense forest and follows a gentle stream be prepared to get your feet wet as you wade through sections of the waterway, especially during the lush green season.

Before you board a bamboo raft for your return journey, your local host will also show you how they cook simple meals in the jungle using seasonal ingredients. It’s a relaxed and hands-on experience that offers insight into traditional ways of living.

After lunch, enjoy a relaxing float downstream (about 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on water levels), a peaceful and scenic journey through the jungle.
