Itinerary

Day 1: Temples, Waterfalls & Hill Tribe Village Camping

Includes Lunch, Dinner

The journey begins at 8:00 AM with a pick-up from your hotel. From there, transfer by minivan to the adventure base in Mae Wang, located around 45–60 minutes southwest of the city.

On arrival, you’ll meet your Tuk Tuk and either begin driver training (for self-drive participants) or settle in for the ride with your chauffeur. The vehicles are specially designed for comfort, with Bluetooth speakers and roll-back roofs for panoramic mountain views.

Self-Drive Option: Comprehensive training is provided, followed by a short driving test to ensure confidence and safety before hitting the open road.
Chauffeur Option: You’re still welcome to try driving on the training track just for fun!

The adventure kicks off with a drive through beautiful rural landscapes, winding through rice paddies and farming villages. Along the way, stop at remote hilltop temples where a monk's blessing sets the tone for the journey ahead.

After lunch at a local restaurant, begin the ascent into the mountains, pausing for a short hike to a jungle waterfall and a visit to a small Karen village. By late afternoon, you’ll arrive at a remote hilltop village where you’ll camp for the night.

Explore the village, meet community elders, and dive into an evening of traditional jungle cooking around a campfire an authentic, hands-on experience with your local hosts.

Then, it’s back into the Tuk Tuk for another day of scenic driving. Wind through mountainous backroads toward the foothills of Doi Inthanon, Thailand’s highest mountain, with plenty of stops for photos and sightseeing.

Lunch is served at a rustic roadside restaurant, offering a taste of authentic countryside Thai cuisine. Continue onward to Ban Mae Khlang Luang, a peaceful Karen village nestled among rice terraces and forested hills.

Your lodge for the night offers simple yet comfortable en-suite rooms with Wi-Fi and incredible views. Spend the afternoon wandering the village and visiting a local café known for its excellent mountain-grown coffee.
