Planting with Purpose

At Tripseed we believe travellers can have a lasting, positive impact on the countries and communities they visit. From simple acts such as exchanging words with a local student practising their English to the more mundane such as eating at local restaurants, travel can be a mutually beneficial endeavour. With that philosophy in mind, we made a commitment to plant a tree for every person that travels with Tripseed.

Our founders believed this act is not just about ensuring the future of our forested lands, but also symbolic of our commitment to growth. We firmly believe that people, businesses and communities should be constantly looking for ways to evolve and flourish. Planting trees is just one way Tripseed is committed to growing travel back better.

We partner with Plant with Purpose, an organization with 35 years of experience working with local communities to reverse deforestation through a sustainable, pro-farmer approach. Their programs work directly with farming families around the world to ensure fruitful and environmentally-friendly practices, including increasing farm yields, healing damaged ecosystems and increasing household savings and opportunities. Also, they conduct three-year studies in all the communities they operate in, so they are not just a one-and-done operation. Tripseed is committed to their goal to end rural poverty and reverse environmental degradation.
