Depart the hotel at 7:30am for a 30-minute drive to the trailhead. After checking in with the national park staff, your guide will give you time to gear up and provide a safety briefing for today’s experience.
Today’s hike will head to the peak of Dragon Crest Mountain, known locally as Khao Ngon Nak. The trail to the peak can be challenging as it is mostly uphill, but the surrounding flora and fauna will keep you engaged with the surroundings. At the peak you’ll find a small spit of granite that juts out over the landscape, offering hikers a mindboggling panoramic view. Light snacks and drinking water are provided during the hike.
After remerging from the jungle, enjoy a local lunch before having the chance to swim in a freshwater river or relax on a beach.
Return to the hotel, arriving around 4:00pm.
