Depart the hotel at 8:00am, and head for the bucolic town of Baan Bor Thor, a 30-minute drive from Krabi. Here, gear up and receive a safety briefing before setting off on a kayak adventure – tea and coffee will be served.
First, paddle through a stunning mangrove ecosystem that’s home to a variety of monkeys and birds. The mangrove waterways slowly lead to Tham Lod Nuea, a magnificent sea cave where it’s possible to kayak under the stalactites. There’ll also be a chance to visit Tham Pee Hua Toe, another cave known for its prehistoric paintings.
After working up an appetite, stop for a seafood lunch at a local restaurant in Baan Bor Thor. After lunch it’s time to relax with a swim at a natural freshwater stream.
Around 3:00pm, depart for the short return trip to the hotel.
